The Catskill Mountains offer the darkest skies within 300 miles of NYC and the second darkest skies in New York State with an SQM rating of 21.76.

Star Gazing Dates:

September 26th & 27th

October 24th & 25th

Reservations are required at least 24
hours in advance. No deposit is required.
Come only if the weather is nice.

No Need to Carry your Telescope
Rent our Orion Intelliscope 12XT
$30 per night

Rates: (Bring your tent)

Camping for Two Nights: $50 per person

Camping for One Night: $35 per person

Add $20 per night to the above rate to stay in our bunkhouse.

There are lots of daytime activities in the area. Enjoy a horseback ride through mountain trials, rent an ATV, kayak on a nearby lake, hike scenic trails, shop for antiques and treasurers, play golf or just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. .
